IGOONE ARAI クリスマスイベントの開催

仙台の複合施設IGOONE ARAIのクリスマスイベントが11/22よりスタートします！



今年のポスターはクリスマスツリーを囲んでみんなでわいわい、オーソドックスでどこか懐かしいようなクリスマスシーンをイメージしました。


そして今年はIGOONEさんと猫ランチバッグを制作しました。
昨年好評だったkazunori ikedaさんのお菓子とセットの期間限定の商品もございます。

IGOONE ARAI クリスマスイベントの開催

今年は私がパッケージを担当させていただいているパティスリーkazunori ikeda individuelの一部商品及び限定商品を販売する他、花屋botanical peopleさんともコラボさせていただきました。
また今年から始動したさまざまなアーティストとのコラボレーションによる「どんぐりチェア」プロジェクトの制作過程の紹介コーナーなどもございます。

Release of the English version

English versions of my coloring books "Rhapsody in the forest" and "Menuet de bonheur" have been published.

Please note that the titles have been changed. The contents of both are exactly the same as those released in Japan.

Japanese version → English version
Rhapsody in the forest" → "Garden of Fairytale Animals
Menuet de bonheur" → "Kingdom of Curious Creatures"
Please make sure you are not mistaken.

I am very happy to be able to make it a little easier for you to purchase our books, which used to be more expensive due to shipping costs from Japan.

We will also publish the English version of the Japanese edition of "Symphony of cute animals" at the beginning of next year. Please note that the title has been changed as well.

新しい塗り絵本「愛らしい動物たちのシンフォニー」発売！

ナツメ社さんから４作目になる塗り絵本が2020年の10月に発売になりました。
1年かけて準備してきた本です。ちゃんと形になってよかった！

ロンドンのギャラリーで作品展示します！

ロンドンのギャラリー「The Brick Lane Gallery」で作品11点を展示します。
本当は５月に開催予定でしたがコロナの影響で開催が延期され９月の開催となりました。こちらのギャラリーではコロナ自粛明け初の展示だったようで入場制限をしたり、インスタライブをしたり普段とは違う状況の中での展示でしたが、それでも多くの方が来場したりオンラインで関心を示してくださりとても好評だったと伺っています。 私もこちらの展示に向けてコロナの最中に５点新しい作品を作りました。先行きの見えない不安もありましたが、逆にどんな状況であれ自分が好きだと思うもの、美しいと思うものは変わらないんだと確認できた気がします。

クロスステッチブランド「LILIUM」が誕生しました

タレント・モデルでもあり、手作りの教室「アトリエミリミリ」を主宰し、DMCのクロスステッチの指導などをされている岡田美里さんが私の原画を元にしたクロスステッチブランド「Lilium～リリウム」を立ち上げました。

第一弾となる今回はクリスマスシーズンに向けて大きめサイズの2点を制作しました。糸や布にまでこだわられて作られた贅沢なキットです。
現在は、催事のみで販売ですが、近々ネット通販も可能になります。
これからも少し小さめのサイズだったりいろんなモチーフでクロスステッチファンの方にも初めての方にも楽しんでいただけるキットを岡田美里さんと共に作っていきたいと思います！

Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam 2018

オランダのアムステルダムで開催される"Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam 2018"に出展します。 Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam 2018 とは世界15都市で展開されるアートフェアです。 "Affordable"とは手に届くという意味らしく、そのコンセプトの通り、このフェアの最大の特徴は、作品１点あたりの上限価格が定められていることです。
身近な手の届くところにアートのある暮らしは理想ですが自分の気に入ったアーティストの絵を手ごろな価格で購入できる機会はなかなかありませんよね。そういう意味でもとても面白いアートフェアだなと感じています。

3冊目となる塗り絵ブック「心ときめく四季のワルツ」が発売になります！（2018.07.09 発売）

3冊目となる塗り絵「心ときめく四季のワルツ ＝ 美しい情景と愛らしい動物たちの塗り絵POST CARD BOOK ＝」が7月9日に発売になります。 今回は通常のハガキサイズ（10*14.8cm）と大判のハガキサイズの（20*14.8cm）の２種類からなるポストカード集です。 厚紙を使用していますので水彩鉛筆など多様な画材に対応可能です。
また今回は巻頭にインスタグラムで活躍されている５名の方による塗り絵見本が掲載されているのも見所です。
子供の頃にわくわくめくった童話の１ページ、楽しみに待っている季節のイベント、四季折々の美しい植物に愛らしい動物たち、こんな私たちの心をときめかせる様々な情景をぎゅっと詰め込んでポストカードサイズに仕上げました。
本作を制作するにあたり、協力していただいた５名のcoluristsの方々、ずっと塗り絵ブックを一緒に作ってくださったナツメ社の方々、 そして３冊目の大きなモチベーションとなり励みとなった、たくさんのメッセージ等を送ってくださった皆様に、心より御礼申し上げます。

My 3rd coloring book "Waltzes for the Seasons" will be released on 9 July!
・ This book is postcards collection which contain normal-sized postcard（10*14.8cm）and large-sized postcard（20*14.8cm）
・Use thick paper corresponding to various painting materials such as watercolors
・ Coloring samples by lovely colorists on instaglam are showing on the beginning of this book.

I am sincerely pleased that I could publish my third coloring book. I hope that this will brighten your life. I really do hope you will enjoy this coloring book. To me, I have created each of these illustrations with my own life experience and warm memories of my childhood. 英国雑誌「Colouring heaven」SECRET WORLD OF ANIMALSが発売されました。

イギリスの雑誌「Colouring heaven」は月ごとに作家を選出し、その作品４０点を紹介するという塗り絵専門誌です。
私が担当した３３号はSECRET WORLD OF ANIMALSというテーマで、新たに１０点の新作を書き下ろしました。残りの３０点に関しては既に発刊された私の塗り絵本から３０点選んでいただきました。 驚くことに発売初日でwebでの販売はセット商品も含め全てsold outとなる好評をいただきました！買えなかった方々には申し訳ありませんが、本当にありがとうございました。

画家のHiroyuki Murakamiさんと「Quiet」というテーマにそってそれぞれの世界観で描き上げた作品を展示いたします。 私は時の流れによって変わるもの変わらないもの、時によって磨かれる美しさ、生命の儚さ美しさ尊さといった耳を澄まさないとかき消されてしまうような小さな声や音楽のようなものをイラストで表現したいと思いました。 これまで仕事でイラストを描くことが多かったのですが、今回はこの展示のために心の中に今あるものを絵にしました。
今まで描いてきたイラストとは少しテーマ性や雰囲気が違うものに仕上がってきていますが、ぜひ多くの方に見てもらえたらと思っています。

The theme is something that has changed or hasn’t changed by the flow of time, the beauty that polish in the permanent time, the fragility and preciousness of life. We have to listen carefully the voice, because the voice is so small that it drowned out in the noisy life. So we sometime place ourselves in quiet, and listen the story that time whistle.

JR名古屋タカシマヤ　クリスマスビジュアル

JR名古屋タカシマヤの今年のクリスマスビジュアルのイラストを描きました。 テーマが「Share the Love」とのことで、サンタさんを介して人々が分け合う愛によって街中がクリスマスの魔法にかかるというストーリーです。私には珍しく人物のイラストも描きました。
JR名古屋タカシマヤとタカシマヤゲートタワーで同時開催中です。名古屋周辺にお住いの方やそしてJR駅と直結していますので名古屋へ出張や旅行の際には是非ご覧ください。
